Thought leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the industry convened in Chicago September 17 – 20 for CRC’s 2023 Commuter Rail Summit. This second annual Summit, hosted by Metra and NICTD (Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District) was an opportunity to connect with industry peers in a small, intimate setting to explore new ideas, and collaborate over today’s most pressing commuter rail issues.

The video features CRC’s annual board meeting and the off-site tour and sessions at held at Metra’s 49th Street Car Shop.

The Commuter Rail Coalition is an association of commuter rail agencies, operators, and other interested parties acting together to engage and educate stakeholders on the value commuter railroads bring to the communities they serve. CRC advocates for commuter railroads in the U.S., calling attention to the many benefits of commuter rail transportation and identifying the resources needed to continue those many beneficial impacts into the future.
