Watch: HART IOS Drone Flyover

A new drone flyover video shows the stations and elevated guideway between Kalauao (Pearlridge) and Hālawa (Aloha Stadium) Stations on the much-delayed HART (Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation) Honolulu Rail System light metro initial operating segment (IOS), where trial running of new Siemens vehicles is occurring.
Kalauao Station, the eighth station on the HART IOS alignment, is located near the Kamehameha Highway and Kaonohi Street intersection and will service the Pearlridge Center, Pearl City, Waimalu, Aiea, and outlying residential areas. A bus transit center will be located outside the station site for passengers to transfer between rail and bus.
Hālawa Station is the ninth station on the alignment, and the final station of the IOS. Located at the Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard intersection, the Hālawa Station will service the Aloha Stadium, Aiea, Salt Lake, Moanalua, and outlying residential areas. Located adjacent to the station will be a bus transit center and a 600-stall park-and-ride facility.
