R.J. Corman acquires Roadway Worker Training
Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-ChiefR.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC has acquired St. Augustine, Fla.-based Roadway Worker Training, Inc. (RWT), which provides specialized training and support services to the railroad industry.
RWT, founded in 2001, has four business divisions—RWT Signal Services, Railroad Protective Services, Focal Point Productions, and RWT Training—with more than 150 employees and associates working on railroad projects from coast to coast and Canada.

RWT Co-founder and Chairman Jim Cashwell will play a continuing role with RWT and R. J. Corman for the foreseeable future.
R.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC, founded in 1973 by Rick Corman, employs more than 1,400 people in 23 states; operates 11 short line railroads; provides industrial switching, emergency response, track material distribution, track construction, and signal design and build services; and builds Railpower locomotives.
