New manager for Harsco Rail Columbia plant
Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-ChiefHarsco Corp. division Harsco Rail, a global supplier of railway track maintenance and construction equipment, has appointed Craig Fairley as the new Plant Manager of its Columbia, S.C., production facility.
Fairley has held several senior positions in his career, among them Site Lean Deployment Leader and Director of Operations at Acuity Brands Lighting, and a Plant Manager role at AGCO Corp.
“Manufacturing is a key focus of Harsco Rail, and we are excited to see how Craig will enhance our operations across the board,” said Harsco Rail Director of Supply Chain Ray Patterson.
“My top priorities as plant manager consist of creating a winning culture that emphasizes team building, employee engagement, and creative solutions; driving business decisions based upon reliable and quantifiable data; and increasing customer, shareholder, and employee value,” said Fairley.
