New York Air Brake LLC (NYAB) has appointed Greg Dalpe as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Dalpe succeeds Jason Connell, who was named President and CEO of NYAB’s sister rail division company, Knorr Brake Company, at the start of 2020.
Dalpe joined NYAB in early 2015 as Operations Director and was promoted to VP of Operations in January 2018, becoming a member of the company’s senior leadership committee. He brings 15 years of transformation leadership across a variety of regulated industrial manufacturing segments, including a proven track record of deploying global operational excellence business systems focused within manufacturing and supply chain operations in North America and China.
Prior to joining NYAB, Dalpe worked in private equity, serving as divisional quality manager and director of operations for ONEX Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Rhode Island College in Providence, R.I., and a Master’s in Operations Design and Leadership from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass.
A Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a civic and philanthropic volunteer, Dalpe is an executive board member of The Children’s Home of Jefferson County. He and his family are residents of Sackets Harbor, N.Y.
“In his tenure with NYAB, Greg has distinguished himself as a leader and an executive with a customer-first approach,” said Ulisses Camilo, President and CEO, New York Air Brake. “The combination of his operational and marketing acumen will help deliver solutions with true impact for stakeholders across our industry. His efforts—in partnership with our rail customers and the many talented New York Air Brake team members—will enable us to advance our mission of providing integrated technology and innovative solutions focused on delivering unequaled reliability, performance, and return on investment.”
