BNSF and SWRR reach agreement for Clovis-Carlsbad line
Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-ChiefBNSF Railway and Southwestern Railroad (SWRR) reached an agreement which calls for BNSF to take over service of the rail line between Clovis and Carlsbad, N.Mex. effective Jan. 17, 2017.
The line has been operated by SWRR since 2004.
According to BNSF, the transition of service will include all operations, maintenance and repairs of the rail line.
