ENSCO Launches Center for Critical Infrastructure Protection

ENSCO, Inc. on Feb. 13 announced that it has launched the Center for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CCIP), an initiative designed to provide comprehensive cyber and physical security solutions to organizations.
In response to the urgent warnings issued by top U.S. officials, including FBI Director Christopher Wray, regarding the escalating threats posed by foreign cyber activity, ENSCO has introduced CCIP as “a timely solution to safeguarding critical infrastructure.” With a focus on addressing the imminent danger highlighted in recent national news coverage, CCIP “leverages ENSCO’s unparalleled background in the Department of Defense (DoD) to deliver comprehensive security solutions that are unmatched in the industry.”
Located at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo, Colo., CCIP, ENSCO says, “stands as a leader in security innovation and expertise.” Boasting state-of-the-art facilities and led by a team of seasoned professionals with more than 20 certifications from internationally recognized governing bodies, CCIP is “dedicated to empowering organizations across multiple industry sectors and government agencies with the tools and knowledge needed to fortify their cyber and physical defenses,” according to ENSCO.
At the heart of CCIP’s mission lies a commitment to providing tailored support to critical infrastructure sectors identified by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) as vital to national security, safety, and well-being. These sectors include railways, railway suppliers, mass transit and pipelines. CCIP, ENSCO says, “offers a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to identify vulnerabilities, enhance defenses, and bolster resilience against a myriad of threats through training, assessment, testing and modeling, and protective services.” Notably, ENSCO adds CCIP’s “dynamic approach” extends beyond traditional training methods, offering a range of customizable services, including live training classes online and in-person.
