The City of Chicago Department of Aviation has awarded a $310 million design-build contract to Parsons to replace and expand O’Hare International Airport’s Automated Transit System (ATS) on a basis.

Parsons BART project earns ASME award
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) San Francisco Section has given Parsons the 2014 Construction Project of the Year award for the $361 million Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Oakland International Airport Connector design-build project. In 2010, Parsons, as part of a joint venture, was awarded a contract for design and construction of the project.

Parsons Corp. has acquired Markham, Ontario-based Delcan Corp., an international multidisciplinary engineering, planning, management, and technology firm that provides a broad range of integrated systems and infrastructure solutions to the transportation market. The firm is now called “Delcan, a Parsons Company.”

Parsons hails CHSRA contract milestone
