Bryant McCuan has joined Indiana Rail Road Company (INRD) as Assistant Vice President of Engineering. Also, Frank Van Veldhuijzen will lead rail projects for AutoFill Technologies, an automated track, vehicle and tunnel inspection system supplier.

INRD Launches Intermodal Expansion

The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) has announced that Ann Arbor Railroad (AA), Delmarva Central Railroad (DCR), Railway Age’s 2020 Regional of the Year Honorable Mention, the Indiana Rail Road Company (INRD), and Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad (RBMN), Railway Age’s 2020 Regional of the Year, have taken home its annual Business Development Award.

INRD, Cummins roll out QSK95 freight locomotive

After two years of development and testing, Indiana Rail Road (INRD) SD90-43MAC no. 1919, the first heavy-haul freight locomotive equipped with a Cummins 16-cylinder, 4,400-hp, Tier 4-compliant QSK95 high-speed diesel power plant, is operating as a “mobile laboratory,” according to INRD Senior Vice President Operations and Business Development Bob Babcock.
