Hopkins Promoted to Technical Manager for Trelleborg’s Chemical and Processing Business

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of precision seals, bearings and custom-molded polymer components, has promoted Brett Hopkins to Technical Manager for its chemical and processing business.

According to Trelleborg, Hopkins, who has worked for the company for two years as a key contributor to the chemical transportation team, will be the primary commercial engineering resource for the Americas and will liaise with the company’s technical communities in Europe and Asia. Hopkins, Trelleborg says, will be responsible for “providing the technical inputs that initiate the strategic development of products, materials and applications that will drive growth in the chemical and processing business.”

Previously, Hopkins worked for Parker Hannifin as an Instrumentation Technical Manager. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University.
