Amsted Rail announced Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, that it is making its first-ever appearance at InnoTrans 2014 in Berlin, Germany, which runs Sept. 23-26.

“We felt InnoTrans was the perfect platform to share a ‘hands-on’ and interactive showcase of our latest innovations in bogie technology and asset monitoring systems with many of our global partners and new potential partners in the heavy haul freight rail space,” said Amsted Rail Vice President-Global Marketing Brad Myers.

“Everything from touch screens and iPad kiosks to video overviews let our visitors determine which bogie and IONX® monitoring system is right for their needs,” Myers said. “We’ll have a complete Motion Control® bogie on display, as well, so visitors get an up-close look at one of our many advances in bogie design and how it is redefining bogie technology for the future.”

Amsted Rail will exhibit in Hall 20, Booth 303 at InnoTrans 2014. To learn more about what Amsted Rail will be bringing to their booth at InnoTrans, click here.

Through Amsted Rail’s Global Engineering team, led by Vice President – Global Engineering Jay Monaco, the company designs and manufactures a full range of bogie systems to satisfy every application and railway gauge, with a focus on delivering the lowest total cost of ownership. Amsted Rail says it has the unique advantage of being an OEM of all of the components of the bogie system which ensures precision-calibrated performance.

Amsted Rail is also a global provider for end-of-car systems and conventional brake system solutions. IONX asset monitoring technology is recognized worldwide to help optimize fleet management and provide condition-based monitoring of running components, wagon/railcar body dynamics in service, and the status of the lading or commodity.

“What better place to display our complete range of performance-driven solutions and demonstrate how they’re shaping the future of heavy haul rail,” said Monaco.
