As part of Railway Interchange 2013, slated for Sept. 29-Oct. 2 in Indianapolis, Norfolk Southern Chairman, President, and CEO Wick Moorman will address a combined AREMA/CMA Chairman's Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

“In just its second year, Railway Interchange is proving to be a must-attend event for railroaders from around the world seeking to learn about all that is new and innovative in the rail supply and engineering arena,” said Dr. Charles Emely, executive director/CEO of AREMA.

More than 640 exhibitors have signed up for the virtually sold-out booth space at the show’s location in the Indiana Convention Center.

Approximately 7,000 attendees are according to the host organizations—AREMA (American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association), CMA (Coordinated Mechanical Associations), Railway Supply Institute (RSI), Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. (RSSI), and Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA).

Early registration rates end August 21, and conference and exhibition sponsorships are still available, the sponsors note. To register, visit the Railway Interchange 2013 registration site. Companies can also explore AREMA sponsorship opportunities; Railway Interchange 2013 exhibition sponsorship information also is available.

RSI President Tom Simpson said, “More than a month out from Railway Interchange 2013, the number of Convention Center exhibitors has already exceeded the 2011 total.”

REMSA Executive Director David Soule added, “We’ve been gratified by the high demand for booth space this year.” RSSI Executive Director Secretary/Treasurer Michael P. Drudy said “We offered more exhibit space this year, anticipating that our members would snap it up – and they have.”
