The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on Dec. 2 issued two new Security Directives for “higher-risk” passenger railroads and rail transit agencies and freight railroads, respectively, to “strengthen” cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity improvements at “the most important” U.S. railroad, rail transit, airport and aircraft operators will be required later this year by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), according to a Reuters report.
Public transportation is the backbone of a city. It moves people safely and quickly from place to place for work, school, events, meetings, and running errands.
