Maryland sets MARC Inauguration Day service

Maryland Transit Administration has announced "special MARC Train services" for Jan. 21 Inauguration Day ceremonies in Washington, D.C. , incorporating reserved trains to the nation's capital.

Round-trip tickets cost $25; regular MARC tickets will not be accepted for the special service.

On MARC’s Penn Line (Amtrak Northeast Corridor), eight trains will depart from Baltimore to Washington between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.; 10 trains will retrun from Washington to Baltimore between 1:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

On MARC’s Brunswick Line, serving points in Maryland and West Virginia northwest of the nation’s capital, four trains depart for Washington between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.; four trains make the return trip between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
