RailComm garners spot on Inc. 5,000 list

RailComm on Wednesday said it has been ranked by Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country.

railcomm_logo.jpgFairport, N.Y.-based RailComm was recognized based on its revenue growth of 285% from 2007 to 2010 and ranked 1,061 on the overall list. RailComm was also ranked 91st amongst the top software development companies.

This is RailComm’s fifth year in a row to be recognized on the Inc. 5,000 list, the company said.

The 2011 Inc. 500 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2007 to 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of Dec. 31, 2010.
