Huber & Suhner and Bombardier sign cabling deal
Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-ChiefHuber & Suhner signed a five-year contract with Bombardier to be its main cable supplier.
Bombardier will equip existing and new rolling stock around the world predominantly with Huber & Suhner Radox EN and GKW cables.
The two companies signed their first long-term supply contract in 2009, and to date more than 20 Bombardier vehicle types are equipped with power, control and databus cables from Huber & Suhner, including the Movia metros for Delhi and the Innovia Monorail for São Paulo.
The agreement also provides a basis for future strategic collaboration on future connectivity solutions.
