Written by William C. Vantuono, Editor-in-Chief

Fairport, N.Y.-based RailComm said it has been selected to upgrade an existing yard system at BNSF Corwith’s mechanical facility in Chicago. RailComm’s Domain Operations Controller (DOC®) System will be used to remotely control derails.

The workstation will display a graphical representation of the yard area, and the user will be able to view all the devices in the field. The system will include a PD Loop Counter Detection system for train detection.
