Birch Joins ASLRRA as New Legal and Office Administrator

ASLRRA Legal and Office Administrator Kathi Birch
The American Short Line and Railroad Association (ASLRRA) recently announced that Kathi Birch has joined as the new Legal and Office Administrator. She will be responsible for a range of administrative and paralegal duties, and will report to Senior Vice President, Law and General Counsel Sarah Yurasko.
According to ASLRRA, Birch will manage tasks related to human resources, accounting and law. This will include onboarding staff, receiving and processing invoices and conducting law research. She will also provide administrative support to the Association’s Board of Directors, Executive Committee and General Counsel Committee.
Birch brings more than 30 years of experience in office administration, billing and legal support. She also brings experience in railroad industry operations and association management. Birch comes to ASLRRA from the Association of American Railroads (AAR) where she spent seven years in several positions, including Finance and Human Resources Administrator and Senior Executive Assistant in the law department.
