REMSA names new officer/director slate

The Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA) on Monday announced its new slate of officers and directors for 2013. REMSA Executive Director David Soule said that, as of Jan. 1, 2013, John Fox, vice president of Marketing and Sales, NARSTCO, will become REMSA's president.

Joining Fox on the REMSA Executive Committee will be: REMSA Vice President Trent Marshall, vice president of Progress Rail leasing; REMSA Secretary/Treasurer Bruce Wise, Director Railroad Sales, Whitmore’s; and Immediate Past President Phil Homan, president of Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc.

Soule also announced the election of Robin Laskowski to the REMSA Board of Directors. Laskowski , vice president-treasurer of Plasser American Corp., was elected by the membership at the REMSA Annual Meeting in September. His term begins Jan. 1.

REMSA officers and directors serve two-year terms.

“The REMSA membership and staff welcome the new officers and director,” said Soule. “We are truly privileged to have this group of professional leaders guiding our association.”
