Honda cites Road & Rail Services for excellence

American Honda Motor Corporation (AHM) of North America has awarded Road & Rail Services, Inc., with two awards: “Processor of the Year Performance Excellence Award for 2014,” and “Superior Quality for 2014.” Both were presented to Road & Rail Services’ President Kevin Brandon at AMH’s annual award celebration in Torrance, Calif.

The Processor of the Year Performance Excellence Award recognizes the auto-processor that best meets AHM’s safety and quality performance standards at its North American operations. The newly implemented Superior Quality award recognizes the automotive processor that scores the highest on AHM’s stringent quality audits and has the lowest damage to Honda vehicles.

Road & Rail Services’ Marysville, Ohio, team was recognized for providing “outstanding safety, quality, processing performance, and service,” Brandon said. “Our Marysville team as well as the entire company is honored to be recognized twice by Honda for safety and performance excellence and for the quality that everyone strives to provide our customers on a daily basis.”

Established in 1987, Road & Rail Services provides of rail-related services to railroads, rail shippers, and railcar owners in train operations (railcar switching and short line operations), maintenance operations (rolling stock, infrastructure, and track assets), and product handling. The company operates in 18 states within the automotive, aggregate, coal/utility, intermodal, paper, and steel/metals industries.
