Titan awarded Twin Cities transit ad contract

New York-based Titan has been awarded a five-year contract, with two additional one-year options, for all advertising rights on Metro Transit trains, light rail transit, and buses serving Minnesota's Twin Cities.

Titan announced the contract agreement with the Metropolitan Council, which oversees Metro Transit, on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 the contract goes into effect March 1. Titan in essence has extended its business relationship with Metro Transit.

Titan says it will manage interior and exterior advertising on Metro Transit buses, trains, shelters, light rail platform kiosks and other properties, generating a minimum of $23,450,000 in revenue for Metro Transit over the initial five-year term. Also, digital platform and shelter displays have already been explored, which will enable advertisers and brands to disseminate more dynamic content to the riders of Metro Transit each year.
