RailComm Transitions to Tracsis

Fairport, N.Y.-based RailComm has rebranded as Tracsis North America, following its 2022 acquisition by Tracsis PLC Group, a provider of software, hardware, data analytics/GIS and services for the rail, traffic data and wider transport industries.

Tracsis North America, which supplies computer-aided dispatch, yard automation and remote condition monitoring software, not only announced a new website and logo on Oct. 5, but also six staff appointments:

  1. Kevin Sheward, Vice President of Sales. Based in Lake Worth, Fla., Sheward has nearly 25 years’ experience and most recently helped lead a go-to-market strategy for the Hitachi Vantara Software and IoT business division.
  2. Matt Keepman, Key Account Executive. With more than 20 years of strategic account management experience, Keepman served previously as Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at Duos Technologies. He has also held the position of Key Account Executive for Wabtec Corporation. He will lead Tracsis North America’s growth initiatives for Class I railroads and assist in identifying and integrating additional Tracsis PLC Group products into the North American market.
  3. Michelle Meisenhalder, Sales Director. Meisenhalder’s 28-year railroad career includes sales and marketing roles at Class I’s and industrial rail service providers. Based in Houston, Tex., she will help expand Tracsis’ market presence at ports and industrial rail sites in the United States.
  4. Zach Guilfoyle, Product Manager. Based in Cary, N.C. Guilfoyle worked previously for Railinc, managing the application suite supporting Chicago rail operations. He has also served as a logistics officer in the United States Army.
  5. Bryan Cunningham, Business Development Director, Transit. Cunningham joined Tracsis in 2022, and has focused on bringing the company’s suite of end-to-end rail operation systems to all rail transit modes. He has more than 20 years of experience selling and supporting intelligent transportation solutions, including computer-aided dispatching, planning, scheduling, fare collection and other smart city technologies, to public transit agencies throughout North America.
  6. Chris Galliher, Regional Sales Director: Based in Miami, Fl, Galliher now oversees the U.S. Eastern region, as well as international customers in Central and South America and New Zealand. He joined the company in 2011 as a Field Engineer and has transitioned to sales.
