Norfolk Southern (NS) Vice President Audit and Compliance Susan Stuart will retire on March 1, 2023. Succeeding her will be 14-year NS veteran Jacqueline Gray. Amtrak will resume Cascades service on the Point Defiance Bypass between Seattle, Wash., and Portland, Ore., on Nov. 18, nearly four years after an overspeed derailment stopped service there.
