The Indiana Rail Road (INRD) and Venture Logistics on Aug. 24, 2016 officially opened the new Venture Rail Warehouse, decribed as “the first rail-served mega-warehouse constructed in Marion County in decades.”
The Indiana Rail Road (INRD) on July 14, 2016 officially opened its new Merom Transload, which is “designed to provide efficient movement of commerce for current and future customers in the Wabash Valley.”
The Indiana Rail Road (INRD) is participating in Indiana Rail Safety Week, which runs the week of Aug. 23-29, by partnering with the Terre Haute Police Department and Indiana Operation Lifesaver for a grade crossing safety “blitz.”
The Indiana Rail Road on Aug. 21, 2015 officially opened it new White River Bridge, which replaces a structure built 116 years ago incapable of handling modern heavy-haul freight trains.
