Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) appoints Tricia Breeger CEO. Also, Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation (Odyssey) names Hans Stig Moller CEO.

MEPPI on April 3 announced that current President Tricia Breeger has been named the company’s new CEO, effective April 1, 2023. Current CEO Brian Heery will remain the Chairman of the Board for the organization. This announcement, the company says, marks history as Breeger is the first female CEO to be appointed throughout the Mitsubishi Electric Group Companies.

MEPPI is a U.S. affiliate of the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan that serves the North American power systems, critical power and rail transportation industries with electrical and electronic products, systems, and services.

Serving as President since 2022, according to the company, Breeger led the company’s operating groups and shared services while “gaining a deep understanding of MEPPI’s diverse customers and markets.” As CEO and President, she will now oversee business strategy, growth, and development while transitioning the company towards digitization and decarbonization. Breeger, the company adds, will “continue to drive the creation of high value for MEPPI’s North American customers through solutions, systems, products, and services with the long-standing quality of the Mitsubishi Electric brand.”

“I am honored and excited to lead the MEPPI organization as we continue to transform and enhance the way we serve our customers,” stated Breeger. “We are committed to innovation and providing solutions that meet the needs of our customers and the energy transition happening in our markets.”

Breeger joined the company in 2000. During her more than 20-year career at MEPPI, she became a leader in the electric power industry by serving as General Manager of the company’s Electrical Distribution Division. In 2018, she was promoted to General Manager of the Uninterruptible Power Supplies Division where she oversaw the day-to-day operations and expanded the division’s market share in the critical power industry. In 2020, she was promoted to Vice-President, participating in the company’s long-term strategic planning with a focus on expanding technology-driven solutions.

Breeger received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Robert Morris University. She serves as Vice Chair to the Board of Directors for Catalyst Connection, a Western Pennsylvania non-profit supporting the manufacturing sector.

The Board of Directors of Odyssey, a multimodal logistics solutions company, announced April 3 that Hans Stig Moller has been named CEO. In this role, Moller will “steer Odyssey’s market-leading multimodal services and strategic supply-chain solutions into the future.” This appointment, the company says, is another milestone marking Odyssey’s 20th anniversary in 2023.

Moller brings more than 20 years of progressive global logistics industry leadership to Odyssey, having held leadership positions within some of the industry’s largest players, including Maersk and XPO. Within Maersk, Moller ran Bridge Terminal Transport (“BTT”) and later led Maersk’s sponsor-backed spin-off of BTT. As CEO of Bridge Terminal Transport, Moller drove several operational initiatives with an emphasis on elevating the company’s sales and technology functions. He led the sponsor’s successful exit of BTT to XPO in 2015 and remained with the XPO leadership team as President XPO Drayage, Inc. There, Moller collaborated with global teams to integrate and align processes and drive revenue growth.

“I’m thrilled to lead Odyssey into the future,” said Moller. “Odyssey has a reputation of excellence within the industry and is well positioned to take share in the rapidly changing supply chain landscape. Going forward, I will be focused on Odyssey’s business expansion, employee development, service integrations and continued dedication to serving our customers’ needs.”

“Moller’s long and impressive track record of success in the logistics industry makes him a natural fit to lead Odyssey to new heights,” said Pete Suffredini, partner at TJC. “He is highly analytical, collaborative and operations-focused – qualities that position him to be a great leader at Odyssey as the Company embarks on its next stage of organic growth.”

Other than the addition of Moller, the Odyssey leadership team remains intact. Cosmo Alberico will continue as President, working closely with Moller to “execute the company’s vision and growth strategy.”
