CF Rail Services makes Georgia purchase

Rosement, Ill.-based CF Rail Services, a subsidiary of Chicago Freight Car Leasing, said Monday it has acquired Waycross, Ga.-based Mobile Railcar Cleaning Co., which will operate under a new name, Waycross Railcar.

Waycross Railcar is located near both CSX and Norfolk Southern operations in southeast Georgia, positioning the facility to deliver certified tank and general freight railcar cleaning services at its 24-acre site, and on a mobile basis at customer locations. Other services provided include railcar running repairs, compliance testing, and valve replacement and maintenance.
