She has served the company for five years, most recently as UTLX Vice President, Portfolio and Services Strategy. In her new role, Suprenuk will not only lead UTLX Leasing, but also oversee the portfolio activities of Carrotanques Unidos, UTLX’s leasing affiliate in Mexico, and team with Procor Leasing, UTLX’s Canadian affiliate, to coordinate North American railcar leasing activities.

Suprenuk has 30 years’ experience in business, finance and strategy, including nearly two decades in GE Capital’s Intermodal and Railcar Leasing divisions, where she served as Chief Financial Officer.

“Since joining UTLX, Kate has demonstrated the dedication, insight and skills that will allow for a seamless transition of leadership, while maintaining the high standards of service excellence and railcar quality that Union Tank Car Company is known for,” Marmon Leasing Group President Bill Constantino said. “I have witnessed Kate’s mastery of an ever-expanding role, and as she moves into a different set of responsibilities, I have full confidence that Union Tank Car Company is well positioned for the future.”

UTLX manufactures tank cars in the U.S. and performs railcar maintenance services at more than 100 locations across North America. UTLX is part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company.”
