AllTranstek hires Nicole Lev Ross as VP of Strategy and Consulting

Downers Grove, Ill.-based AllTranstek, LLC has hired Nicole Lev Ross as Vice President of Strategy and Consulting, the company announced Sept. 29, 2015. She will work with senior management in heading up strategic services, working on the company’s growth initiatives and expansion of its global rail consulting practice.

Lev Ross has an extensive consulting, business strategy and acquisition development background working with Fortune 500 companies both nationally and internationally. She recently directed corporate development at FreightCar America for more than five years and was responsible for sourcing and developing acquisition targets and partnerships, providing valuation analysis and due diligence of 50-plus rail-related target companies, as well as leading company-wide strategic planning activities.

Lev Ross holds an International MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA from The University of Iowa. She also studied at Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil and La Universidad de Las Américas in Puebla, México.

Richard J. Kloster, Senior Vice President Strategic Development and Technical Service of AllTranstek, described Lev Ross as “an exceptional strategist” with “considerable experience delivering the detailed analysis and providing solutions that AllTranstek customers increasingly require.”

The hiring of Lev Ross is one of several recently announced organizational changes that will allow AllTranstek to “better meet the needs of its growing client base, to develop new tools its clients require to remain profitable, to aid AllTranstek in maintaining its position as the leading innovator in the rail equipment management and consulting sector,” the company says.

Earlier, AllTranstek announced several organizational changes: Jeffery J. Wilson was promoted to President of AllTranstek after 11 years as the company’s Chief Operating Officer; and Richard J. Kloster was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer after three years leading AllTranstek’s Strategic and Technical Services groups.

AllTranstek manages more than 210,000 railcars of all types for some of North America’s largest companies.

AllTranstek strategic services group offers a “360-degree view” of the rail supply chain by providing clients with market research, analytics, forecasting, and strategic consulting services.

AllTranstek technical services group provides technical and operational support to the rail equipment supply chain, including field inspections, engineering, regulatory compliance, and training.
