Gulf Inland Logistics Park Sells 55 Acres to OmniSource

Gulf Inland Logistics Park, a 2,400-acre rail-served industrial park developed by Liberty Development Partners, announced Nov. 7 that it has sold a 55-acre, rail-served tract within the site to OmniSource LLC to expand the company’s metals recycling operations along the Gulf Coast.

Liberty Development Partners has acquired Dayton, Tex.-based CMC (Coastal Materials Company) Railroad and Gulf Inland Logistics Park. Also, the Port of Long Beach (POLB), Calif., reported that second-quarter 2022 was its busiest on record, “boosted by increased consumer demand as retailers stock shelves for back-to-school shopping.”
