FourKites appoints Rocky Subramanian as President. Also, Stantec names Dave Sauve as Transportation Business Leader for North America; and PTSI Transportation appoints Em Hall as Product Manager of its Route Learning System™.

Supply chain visibility company FourKites announced April 5 the appointment of Rocky Subramanian as President, effective immediately. He will work alongside CEO Matthew Elenjickal to “drive the company’s strategy, growth and customer success globally.”

“As our new President, Rocky will be key to taking FourKites to the next level,” said Elenjickal. “He has a proven track record in delivering big wins for customers, building world-class teams, championing workplace diversity and culture, scaling processes and growing thriving partner ecosystems. Just as important, he passionately shares my belief that better supply chains make the world a better place. I’m honored to welcome him to our executive team as we accelerate FourKites’ growth trajectory.”

Most recently, Subramanian served as Executive Vice President and CRO at Ceridian where he helped the company grow to more than $1.2 billion in revenue, added some of the biggest global brands as customers, and transformed the revenue organization, according to FourKites.

Subramanian previously served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of one of SAP’s largest market units—with responsibilities spanning sales, go-to-market strategy, operations and services for the entire enterprise software portfolio—which he grew to more than $1.8 billion. Prior to SAP, Subramanian served in various roles at Oracle/PeopleSoft, Renaissance and NCS Pearson. He also advises as a volunteer mentor and supports organizations with missions focused on education accessibility and eradicating hunger.

Subramanian’s appointment comes on the heels of significant momentum for FourKites, the company stated in a release. In 2022, the company realized 70% growth in new customers, with more than 1,200 of the world’s most recognized brands—including 50% of the Fortune 500—now using FourKites to track more than three million shipments around the world every day. In addition to strategic investments in 2021 from “industry heavyweights” Qualcomm Ventures, LLC, Volvo Group Venture Capital AB and Zebra Technologies, over the past year, FourKites inked strategic partnerships with several “industry titans” to “continue executing on its bold vision to provide visibility everywhere.” These companies, FourKites says, include Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Quiet Platforms, Sony, Microsoft and Narvar. FourKites was also recognized for its “industry leadership and ongoing innovation” by Gartner, SupplyChainBrain, Blue Yonder, Builtin Chicago, Manhattan Associates and Food Shippers of America.

In addition to Subramanian, the company recently announced the appointment of Rebecca Nerad as Vice President of Global Customer Success, and Natalie Wolf, Vice President of Customer Operations and Strategy. Nerad has more than 20 years in the supply chain industry, having held senior customer success roles at e2open, i2 Technologies, JDA Software and Bristlecone, while Wolf has held senior customer experience roles at Anaplan and Celonis.

Stantec has selected Dave Sauve to lead its Transportation Business Line for North America. He will be responsible for overseeing the business’s financial performance, talent attraction and development, resource management, client relationships, and project delivery. According to Stantec, the company’s transportation business employs more than 2,500 people and is the largest business line within Infrastructure, which represents 29% of the firm’s business. Overall, Stantec Infrastructure saw 27% year-over-year growth in 2022, totaling CAD$1.3 billion in net revenue.

Sauve was most recently Stantec’s Infrastructure Innovation Leader and Infrastructure Major Projects Leader for Canada, where he focused on digital solutions and supported innovation development programs. He has provided oversight to the development of major infrastructure software and digital products, and supported the combined growth efforts of the firm’s GenerationAVTM, Smart(ER) Mobility, and Urban Mobility teams.

Sauve joined the company in 2004 and has previously led Stantec’s business in both the Greater Toronto Area and Ottawa. He is a professional civil engineer and urban planner with an MBA in Real Property Development and has a broad range of experience in the leadership, governance, and delivery of P3/Alternative Project Delivery (APD) and infrastructure projects.

Brian Norris, who has been Stantec’s Transportation Business Leader for more than three years, will be taking over the firm’s growing Program and Construction Management (PM/CM) business. Norris, Stantec says, has already been central to some of the company’s most iconic PM/CM projects, such as the Honolulu Rail Transit project and the Los Angeles Metro Purple Line Extension. With newly invested infrastructure funding in the U.S. and Canada, and favorable prospects globally, Stantec says it is poised to grow its PM/CM business significantly across its infrastructure, water engineering, energy and resources, and buildings businesses, as well as numerous geographies.

“This is an exciting time for getting shovels in the ground, and we see an enormous opportunity to help our clients execute on their projects,” said Norris. “Stantec has extensive experience integrating constructability into design, and we know what does and doesn’t work in the field. This has led to success in helping our clients navigate the execution of their construction plans.”

PTSI Transportation, a transportation management consultancy based in East Rutherford, N.J., announced April 5 that Em Hall has been appointed Product Manager of its Route Learning System™, and will also serve as Midwest Region Director for the company.

The Route Learning System™, PTSI Transportation says, is a “multi-media training program to familiarize locomotive engineers, conductors, and rail transit train operators, with the physical characteristics of their routes.” It was first used by the Belt Railway Company of Chicago, and is now on NJ Transit Newark Light Rail, Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority’s San Jose Light Rail and Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad, among others.

Hall will be based in Chicago, where she is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In her new position, she will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Route Learning System™, including technical development, implementation, marketing, and client service. In addition, the company says, she will represent PTSI Transportation in all its endeavors in the Midwestern states.

PTSI Transportation, now in its 51st year, works in areas of train operations and safety, passenger service, intercity and transit bus service, luxury trains and tour trains. An affiliate, On Board Specialists, is a joint venture with UK-based On Board Solutions, focusing on railway catering and food service.
