Atlantic Track sets Southeast Regional office

Written by Douglas John Bowen

Bloomfield, N.J.-based Atlantic Track on Tuesday announced several personnel appointments, many involving staffing at the company’s new Southeast regional office in Atlanta.

Heading the new office as Southeast Regional Manager is Ricky Knox, a 20-year veteran in the railroad industry who has been with the company since 2004. Knox will oversee the handling of railroad product sales, including new and used rails and accessories, trackwork, and bridge products, as the company seeks to continue expanding its presence in Southeast and to establish its Memphis, manufacturing facility as another distribution center.

John McDonald was named sales representative for the Southeast regional office. Pat Reilly, manager of railroad sales, will join the Southeast regional office, and will spearhead Atlantic Track’s new bridge products line, the company said.

Elsewhere, Jason Boosel, a sales representative with Atlantic Track since 1998, has been promoted to sales manager for the company’s Pittsburgh area sales office. Boosel replaces Jim Schweitzer, who is cutting back his responsibilities after 40 years with the company but who will remain an active member of the Pittsburgh sales staff, the company said.
