American Industries Taps Lhota as GM

Jason Lhota is the new General Manager for American Industries (AI), an A. Stucki Co. subsidiary that supplies new and reconditioned railcar components and systems from its Sharon, Pa., and Jerseyville, Ill., facilities.

Lhota served most recently at Howe Street Advisors, a Pittsburgh, Pa.-based business consulting firm. He has more than 20 years of experience in strategic supply chain and operations oversight, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Citadel in Charleston, S.C.

Lhota will work at the Sharon location of AI, which provides new and reconditioned wheelsets, bolsters, side frames, couplers and yokes, truck assemblies, and more.

“Jason’s extensive background in business operations made him the ideal choice to lead American Industries,” said Scott Driggers, President of Reconditioning and Repair Services for A. Stucki Co., which was acquired by private-equity firm Stellex Capital Management LLC in December 2022. “He will play an integral role in helping us achieve our strategic goals.”

Separately, Rick Clary earlier this fall took on the position of Vice President of Human Resources for A. Stucki Co.
