Record US, Canada intermodal volume

The Association of American Railroads said U.S. rail volumes for the week ending September 23 set a new record for intermodal traffic in both the U.S. and Canada. Total U.S. traffic was 548,204 carloads and intermodal units, up 1.6% compared with the same week in 2016.

Green new Jaxport CEO

The Port of Jacksonville Port Authority Board of Directors unanimously voted to hire longtime Jaxport executive Eric Green as Chief Executive Officer. Green had served as interim CEO since March.
