The California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) has released its latest sustainability report, Building an Equitable Future, highlighting the 2020 milestones of the high speed rail project that will connect San Francisco and the Bay Area to Los Angeles and Anaheim.

First ‘INFRA Extra’ Projects Unveiled

Nationwide, 44 projects that applied for but were not awarded 2021 INFRA competitive grant funding are now INFRA Extra designees, eligible for credit assistance of up to 49% of costs, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation.

CHSRA, City of Palmdale Team on Station Project

California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a statement on May 14 about how the Golden State would spend an unexpected $100 billion surplus. The theme of Newsom’s program is “California Roars Back” and began with his top priorities: “The California Comeback Plan has one goal: Hit fast-forward on our state’s recovery by directly confronting California’s most stubborn challenges.” Transportation was not among them.
