For the ninth straight year, CN has made the not-for-profit, worldwide environmental Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP) Climate A List, identifying the railroad as “a global leader in the corporate response to climate change.”
CN announced Oct. 28 that it has been awarded a position on the Climate A List by CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), the international not-for-profit that drives sustainable economies.
Affirming its commitment to protecting the environment now and for future generations, Union Pacific (UP) has submitted climate change data to CDP an outlined initiatives and investments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the railroad reported on July 31, 2015. For the second time, UP also reported on its water consumption and responsible management of this resource in CDP’s water questionnaire.
