EMD opens Brazilian locomotive assembly site

Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD), a subsidiary of Progress Rail Services, a Caterpillar company, said Thursday it has officially opened its locomotive manufacturing facility in Seta Lagoas, Brazil, located in the state of Minas Gerais.
