Event Info

The RT&S Track Geometry and Rail Flaw Detection Virtual Conference—scheduled for July 13, 2023—will cover the importance of and best practices for maintaining proper track geometry, as well as the most recent updates in rail flaw detection. Attend the live broadcast and ask our experts your own questions!

Track geometry, including grinding and milling, is both an economic and safety issue. Economic in that proper geometry will prolong the life of rail, and safety because improperly maintained geometry can lead to derailments.

In addition to track geometry, we’ll cover the latest rail flaw detection methods. Serious rail flaws can lead to disastrous consequences if not caught early and remedied.

The goal of this virtual conference is to present the latest thinking around track geometry and rail flaws, presented from varied operational environments. Those involved in these arenas who work for Class I railroads, short lines, consulting firms, and third-party service firms should attend.
