North Carolina Railroad Company (NCRR) is investing approximately $200,000 in a new rail-served site, where a wood-products manufacturing facility will be built. Also, OmniTRAX affiliate Winchester and Western Railroad (W&W) will serve a planned West Virginia steel mill.

OmniTRAX Bringing Rail-Ready Program to WW

OmniTRAX, WW Launch Rail-Ready Sites Program

OmniTRAX, an affiliate of The Broe Group, launched its new Rail-Ready Sites program. This program, designed to bring together rail-served sites and customers in need of development properties, kicks off with 10 Rail-Ready Sites along the New Jersey division of the Winchester and Western Railroad (WW).

OmniTRAX Acquiring Winchester & Western

A managed affiliate of OmniTRAX, Inc has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the 101-year-old Winchester & Western Railroad (W&W), which operates in Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia and Virginia, from Covia Holdings Corp. The $105 million transaction is expected to close during third-quarter 2019 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including Surface Transportation Board review.
