The U.S. Senate has confirmed, by a vote of 82-15, Polly Trottenberg as U.S. Deputy Secretary of Transportation.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) has issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the RAISE program, providing $1 billion in FY 2021 discretionary grant funding for rail, transit, road and port infrastructure projects.

The INFRA grant program’s Notice of Funding Opportunity has been updated, and approximately $889 million in total funding is available. Applications will be accepted through March 19. (BNSF)
