R&LHS Adds Passenger Rail Article Award

The Railway & Locomotive Historical Society (R&LHS) has announced the addition of a seventh category to its Railway History Awards. Recognizing “excellence in magazine journalism devoted to past or present passenger rail service,” it is the William F. Howes Jr. Passenger Rail Article Award.

The Railway & Locomotive Historical Society has recognized John P. Hankey (left) with a senior achievement award; Brian Solomon (center) with a photography award; the late William L.Withuhn (right) with a book award; and Bill Leistiko and Gregg Ames with magazine article awards.

R&LHS Presents Railroad History Awards

The Railway & Locomotive Historical Society (R&LHS) has announced the winners of its annual Railroad History Awards program. The awards recognize senior achievement as well as outstanding work in photography and book and magazine writing.
