Sometimes it seems like lightning strikes and we see a significant jump in the capabilities of technology. Such is the case with PS Technology’s Precision Train Builder™ (PTB), a suite of abilities
PS Technology (PST) has released Precision Train Builder™, which the company says “is designed for analyzing derailments and improving the safety of train operations by physically accurate simulation. Precision Train Builder (PTB) was created to close the existing gaps in on-demand incident analysis and forward-looking scenario building.”
Physically Accurate Train Simulations for Safety Improvement With safety at the forefront of railroad technological innovation, PS Technology has developed a tool to assimilate actual train information and produce highly detailed analysis
PS Technology (PST) announced that Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (G&W) will implement CrewPro Short Line™, a cloud-hosted, subscription-based railroad crew management and Hours-of-Service (HOS) system, and QualPro™, a qualification and training management solution, across its U.S. freight railroads.
A new train crew management and payroll system under development by PS Technology and Norfolk Southern is expected to “boost operating efficiency, lower costs and increase productivity, supporting goals of NS’s strategic plan to improve corporate performance.”
