POV Sets July Container Record, Advances Capacity-Boosting Projects

The Port of Virginia (POV) processed 293,126 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) in July, up 32.6% over the prior-year period, it reported on Aug. 17.

TNW Corp. will help develop and grow the Port of Victoria (Texas), a shallow draft inland port with access to the Intracoastal Waterway and to Houston, San Antonio and Austin, via BNSF and Union Pacific.
