Patriot to Sell Ports Division

Terminal and logistics firm Enstructure has entered a definitive agreement to acquire the Patriot Port Holdings LLC division of Patriot Rail & Ports; the deal is said to allow Patriot to focus on growing its core rail business.

Itzkoff, Jakubowski Join RSTAC

Donald Itzkoff and Eric Jakubowski will represent Patriot Rail Company LLC and Anacostia Rail Holdings, respectively, on the Surface Transportation Board’s Railroad-Shipper Transportation Advisory Council (RSTAC).

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Patriot Rail Co. LLC has finalized its acquisition of 26-mile Salt Lake Garfield & Western Railway (SLGW) and its storage and transload service providers, Caballero LLC and Caballero 2 LLC, in Utah. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Global infrastructure investor First State Investments (FSI) has completed its acquisition of Patriot Rail and Ports from SteelRiver Infrastructure Partners, an independent investment manager. Financial terms of the deal—which was for 100% equity—were not disclosed.
