Shanxi Jingshen Railway Company Ltd., China, has awarded Pandrol a contract for FASTCLIP FC-16 fastening systems for a major national infrastructure project.
Pandrol, a global supplier of rail fastening systems and aluminothermic welding, has signed multi-year distributor partnership agreements with two Railway Supply Group companies: Chicago-based Industry-Railway Suppliers, Inc. (IRS), a leading U.S. distributor of rail track tools, abrasives and products for railway construction and maintenance; and Canadian railroad distributor Davanac, Inc.
Arnaud Pierrard is joining Pandrol’s senior team in a new position tasked with innovating the company’s manufacturing processes.
The Delachaux Group is launching a rebranding effort aimed at bringing all its rail businesses under the Pandrol brand. The company says the move “enhances its commitment to the rail infrastructure market and comes as part of a strategic review to make the products and services more streamlined for customers and create a synergy from the combined strengths of its rail division businesses.”
Pandrol’s FASTCLIP FE fastening system has been chosen as the preferred fastening for a Trafikverket (TRV, Swedish Transport Administration) 20-year framework agreement with Swedish producers of concrete crossties.
No matter the environment, fastening systems need to be resilient, easy to install and customizable to a variety of specifications.
