A new safety video released by Operation Lifesaver, Inc. (OLI) is targeting professional drivers of cement, dump and garbage trucks and their employers to prevent devastating collisions between these vehicles and trains at railroad crossings across the U.S.

OLI doles out $175K via 10 grants

As part of its Passenger Rail Safety campaign, Operation Lifesaver, Inc. (OLI) recently awarded $175,000 in grants to 10 rail transit agencies in eight states to increase rail transit safety public awareness and implement safety education projects and campaigns.

OLI offering rail transit safety education grants

OLI names new state coordinators

Jeffrey Pitcher now leads Maine Operation Lifesaver (ME OL); Alan Stouder leads Ohio Operation Lifesaver (OH OL); and Kathy Zander is Operation Lifesaver of the Dakotas (ND/SD) leader.
