NYMTA Projects Balanced Budget Through 2027

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) on July 17 released its five-year financial plan showing a balanced budget through 2027, the first time in more than 20 years the Authority has projected a balanced budget for five consecutive years.

NY Penn Station Reconstruction Design Kicks Off With Notice to Proceed

Far Rockaway-Mott Av is the 29th station to be enhanced with an upcoming refurbishment planned at Pelham Bay Park on the line.

New York State’s FY 2024 Budget Intended to ‘Save’ NYMTA

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) announced May 3 that New York State’s $229 billion FY 2024 Budget will save the agency from “looming fiscal cliff” through adjusted payroll mobility tax and increased contributions from New York City.
