IBEW Strikes at CN

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers’ (IBEW) in Canada rejected CN’s latest offer and has gone on strike, CN reported June 20.

IBEW Threatens Strike at CN

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) has notified CN of its intention to strike as of 11 a.m. ET on July 18, the Class I railroad reported June 15.

The CP-IBEW Canadian Signals and Communications System Council No. 11 agreement is subject to union member ratification. IBEW represents 360 signal maintainers at CP in Canada.

CP, IBEW Reach New Tentative Agreement

Canadian Pacific (CP) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Canadian Signals and Communications System Council No. 11 reported reaching a new tentative five-year collective agreement.
