Short line and regional railroads are getting help with Positive Train Control compliance.
Watco Cos. LLC, a short line railroad holding and transportation services company based in Pittsburg, Kan., has selected Herzog Technologies, Inc. (HTI) to provide Positive Train Control (PTC) hosting services. HTI previously announced PTC hosting contracts with Tacoma, Wash.-based short line Tacoma Rail and Ohio-based regional Wheeling & Lake Erie.
Herzog Technologies, Inc. (HTI) has rolled out Herzog PTC Hosting, described as “providing Positive Train Control messaging capabilities, back office SaaS (software as a service) and a variety of other PTC services to help railroads meet PTC requirements without large up-front capital investments or lengthy setup timelines.”
Herzog Technologies, Inc. (HTI) said Tuesday, July 1, 2014 it has partnered with Lilee Systems “to provide innovative Positive Train Control Solutions. HTI chose Lilee’s suite of products to support HTI’s Commercial ITCM Federation Hosting solution.”
