FRA Awards Automated Track Inspection Program Contract to ENSCO

ENSCO Inc., a provider of railway track inspection and measurement technology, has announced that the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has awarded the company a new five-year contract to carry out its Automated Track Inspection Program (ATIP).

For TTC, a New Grade Crossing Test Bed

A new grade crossing test bed to “evaluate and demonstrate emerging safety technologies” is in the planning stages at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) Transportation Technology Center (TTC), according to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and ENSCO, Inc.

Jeff Stevens has been promoted to President of ENSCO, Inc., succeeding Boris Nejikovsky, who will retire after 30 years of service.

TTC Management Begins Transition to ENSCO

The Transportation Technology Center, Inc. (TTCI) has rejected Ensco’s offer to keep the Strategic Research Initiatives (SRI) program at the Pueblo, Colo., facility.
