Amtrak Awards Duos $9MM Railcar Inspection Contract

Duos Technologies Group will provide Amtrak with two automated railcar inspection portals under an approximately $9 million contract, with installation expected to begin later this year.

CSX Expanding Automated Railcar Inspection

CSX will add to its network a third automated railcar inspection portal from Duos Technologies by the end of second-quarter 2022, the supplier reported on Dec. 16.

Keolis is digitizing operating documents such as rulebooks, bulletins and special instructions that more than 1,000 train conductors, locomotive engineers, track workers and other personnel are required to carry when operating on the MBTA Commuter Rail network.

Keolis Commuter Services, operator of Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) commuter rail, has selected Comply365 to digitize materials for operations personnel; and Duos Technologies has partnered with Dell to help streamline its automated railcar inspection system.

CN has awarded a multi-year contract to Duos Technologies, Inc., for complete North American service, support, maintenance and spare components sourcing for the seven Railcar Inspection Portals (rip®) currently in operation along its network. Additionally, engineering software firm Bentley Systems, Inc., has established Virtuosity to combine subscriptions to Bentley applications, such as OpenRail, with training and expert services.
